HCT Sun makes Diwali memorable for seniors at home for the elderly

A large-scale automotive components manufacturer has started enjoying lower electricity bills after going solar with HCT Sun. The company’s Chakan, Pune-based factory is reaping the benefits of a 129-kWp rooftop solar power project developed by HCT at zero cost to the client.

With a global set of clientele, the project will also help the client to build its image as a ‘green supplier.’ The project will generate power equivalent to planting 1917 trees per year and reduce around 165 tons/year in equivalent emissions.

The project was installed within a month of the client starting manufacturing operations at the factory. This was possible because of advanced discussions between engineering teams at HCT and the client’s factory. The solar power project installation timeline helped the client to save power costs from the first month itself, and helped the factory achieve better-than-projected cash-flow.

As with its other projects, HCT used imported components such as solar modules, inverters and module mounting structures for this project. HCT employs internationally-certified installation and safety procedures for all of its projects.
