HCT Sun makes Diwali memorable for seniors at home for the elderly

HCT Sun has installed a 265-kWp rooftop solar power project for a large-scale industrial manufacturer in Chakan, Pune. The project will supply power that will meet around 70% of the client’s requirements, at a lower tariff than the client’s existing grid tariff.
The client, a manufacturer of rubber hoses, was looking for options to reduce the high electricity bills as part of their larger goals to optimize operations. HCT and the client discussed and planned the solar project in detail so that solar power installations would complement other factory optimization activities. However, unlike the client’s other optimization projects, going solar did not involve any capital investment for the client.
For the client, going solar with HCT also helped to strengthen their ‘green company’ image.
The power generated will be equal to planting 3940 trees per year, and will reduce emissions equivalent to 338 tons/year.
The client is among the several MSMEs that HCT has helped to enjoy the commercial and sustainability benefits of solar power without having to invest significant upfront capital. HCT is keen to provide cost-saving solar power solutions to many such MSMEs, who are the backbone of India’s industrial capabilities.
